JL HODGES

James Lloyd Hodges, aka J.L, aka Jimmy, aka Bandanna, was born in Cartersville VA on the banks of the mighty James River.  He was named after his two grandfathers and has spent much of his life explaining that he has a double name like Frank Lloyd Wright.  As a wild young heathen blessed with the gifts of nature (Dad) and nurture (rock music), he grew up to be a lean, mean guitar playing machine.  His formative years were spent playing bass guitar in various grunge bands.  The allure of the guitar and its 6 strings lured the young artist away from the deep dark bottom that is the life of a bass player:  namely callouses on his left hand an an unnatural hoarseness to his speaking voice.  JL also enjoys vintage cars, synth jams, and literature from the American South.

JUSTIN PACIOCCO

Justin recorded his first song at the precocious age of 5 years old-- a "smokin" version of Twist and Shout-- while hundreds gathered to watch him on a large video screen outside Kings Dominion Themepark Studios.  Determined not to peak at 5 and wither away into oblivion like other "child-stars", Justin harnessed his talents and began taking piano lessons and singing in the church choir.  The piano lessons started when he was 8 years old, and no matter how many times he tried to quit over the years, his mother cruelly forced him to slave away on the piano until he was 18 (and he is so grateful she did).  Justin played in many different bands during his grade-school years; in middle school, he played in a "kick ass" ska band cleverly called The Blue Roof Band, and in high school, he played jingly pop songs in Berkley Woods Band.  A founding member of Farm Vegas, Justin is best known for his sizzling solos, smoky vocals, and smoothness with the ladies. Justin plays a Fender Rhodes, Hammond XK-3 Organ, Nord Electro 2 Keyboard, and the harmonica when he's feeling brave (drinking).  When he's not playing music, he enjoys punishing himself by rooting for the St. Louis Rams.

PHILIP AGEE

Philip, a self-taught guitar player, was born and raised in Powhatan VA, and has been playing guitar for 18 years.  His only formal music training took place in the middle school concert band where he was an underachieving 2nd chair alto saxophone player.  At 14,  Philip quit the concert ensemble gig to start his first band.  Their first performance blew the roof off of the St. Michael's School talent show-- leading the Headmaster to cover his ears in delight.  The performance was legendary and was followed immediately by a hiatus-- so that the band could allow its fans to recover.  Philip's influences include his dad, Dickey Betts, Duane Allman, Allen Collins, and Gary Rossington.  Philip plays Gibson guitars through Mesa Boogie amplifiers.

BRIAN HILL

Brian, a native of RVA, has been playing string instruments for over 15 years.  Although originally a guitar player, he quickly realized that there were way too many good guitar players in the world, and so he took his chances with the bass.  After playing bass in the high school jazz band, he dabbled with a few other small groups before joining forces with Farm Vegas at Hampden-Sydney College.  Sometimes referred to as The Lord of Low Frequencies,  Brian's influences include Larry Graham, Rocco Prestia, Dave Schools, James Jamerson, and many others.  Brian plays Fender basses through Ampeg SVT amplifiers.

AUSTIN PETERS

Scientists are still analyzing results on this half-human/half-machine drumming freak of nature, but Austin Peters might just be the greatest drummer on the planet.  He's also a really nice guy.  More info coming soon.
